Hey guys!!! Comparing is what we human does every time. We compare ourselves almost always with the people inferior or superior to us. Sometimes we do it for motivation, sometimes for jealousy, sometimes for showing what we have and sometimes for showing what we don’t have. But is comparison really a thing? Should we even use it? Let’s find it out in our favorite, Expeknow style!

Comparing is known as examining resemblances or differences between two or more things. We can compare cars, bikes, houses, mobiles, TVs, Books, etc. Comparing these things are easy because they aren’t too complex and we do it often. Here, comparison can benefit you while choosing better products.

Humans, on the other hand, are highly complex organisms. We all have different house, money, resources, environment, background, history, qualities, abilities, friends, genetics, family situations, etc. This makes the life of every human being complex to study.

Even after knowing all of these things, we compare ourselves with others. We compare and compare and at the end of the day, we are left with jealousy of not having something that the other person has. This often results anger, frustration or sadness. So, the question is, why should we be sad/anger/frustrated/jealous of something that the other person have? Why don’t we understand that everyone is different.

The simple answer is, because we are running from our true selves. We are different, which means that we all have different strengths and weaknesses. We are simply underestimating our strengths and focusing on what we don’t have. Maybe the person you are admiring for a quality is screwed in his life in other fields where you maybe be successful.

Comparing yourself to others is a game of kids. What you should really do is to have self actualization and loving your authenticity and taking care of its charge. Be the master of your sea. You should focus on your vision. Comparison doesn’t get you anywhere because the more you will meet people, the more you will compare yourself and this cycle will never end. 7 billion people. Can you compare to all of them and feel happy? Can you compete with all of them? Think about it.

Lastly, I would like to give you a powerful tip which is to see everyone as a menu to order things in your own vision. Like, suppose there is a guy who has certain qualities you admire. Take that guy as a menu, add every quality that you like to have in your own vision and start working towards it. This is powerful. Once you start using it, you can change your life greatly.

Just love your self first. Love everything you have. Accept every weakness first and then try adding things from the life of others that you would like to have. Start working towards it. This will, by time, tell you how capable are you to achieve something in your life. You can really be anything. Just put some energy and time.

This is it. I hope you liked it. Make sure to like this post and comment your thoughts. Subscribe to my newsletter for getting updated and never compare yourself. This is Atul and you are at Expeknow.
